"When I got into this whole makeup-as-a-career thing I was just trying to solve a personal problem. I couldn’t find a good lipstick that didn’t harm animals or the planet."
When I tried vegan lipsticks, I was let down. They were super drying and just didn’t deliver the way my other lipsticks did. So, I got to working in my kitchen and two years later I had the 10-Ingredient formula that launched Axiology.
Making super ethical makeup is a lot harder than you’d think but it’s worth the sweat. More and more people are demanding vegan and planet friendly makeup. It’s cool to think we’re playing a part in making over the beauty industry.

Why Axiology Went 100% Plastic-Free
The beauty industry creates 120 billion units of packaging waste every single year and Axiology was part of the problem. Yes our lipsticks were ethically sourced, cruelty-free, vegan, and the tubes were made from 50% post-consumer recycled plastic, but it was still waste that would eventually end up in a landfill or our oceans. So in 2022, we ditched all of our plastic and focused our efforts on fighting the beauty industry’s massive plastic waste problem.
